I'll guide you when you need it, then leave room for the laugh, the hand squeeze, and the look that happens on its own. We'll choose a Tri-Cities location that feels like you and follow the light together.

You never have to worry about knowing how to pose — that's my job. I'll help you plan what to wear ahead of time, and during the session I'll give you simple prompts that help you relax and just be yourselves. Most people tell me the same thing afterward: "That was actually fun."

I Know How Much A Photograph Can Hold

My journey into photography began with my own children, not a business plan. When they were little, I wanted more than rushed studio portraits — I wanted photographs that captured who they truly were. What started with my own kids has become the privilege of documenting life's most meaningful moments for hundreds of Tri-Cities families, seniors and couples over the past 20 years.

I photographed my own grandparents once — laughing, holding hands, sharing the quiet love they'd built over a lifetime. I had no idea how precious those photographs would become after my grandpa passed away. That's the truth I carry into every session: I'm not just taking photographs for today. I'm preserving moments that may one day be a family's most treasured memories.

How a Session Works

I reserve most sessions four to six weeks ahead so we have time to plan it right.

  1. You reach out

    Tell me who you want to photograph and what this season means to you.

  2. We talk

    We'll plan everything by phone — wardrobe guidance, location ideas, and the little details that make it feel like you.

  3. Golden hour

    We meet outdoors, move gently, and let natural connection do most of the work. You'll probably hear me say "get closer… closer!" more than once.

  4. Your gallery

    I edit each frame in my warm, true-to-you style and send your story home.

What areas do you serve?

I'm based in Richland, Washington, and photograph throughout the Tri-Cities — Richland, Kennewick, Pasco and the surrounding areas. Travel up to 25 miles is included; beyond 25 miles, the fee is $2 per additional mile. Most sessions happen outdoors at golden hour, at a location we choose together.

How far in advance should I book?

I reserve most sessions four to six weeks ahead. Senior sessions and fall family sessions fill fastest, so if you have a season in mind, reach out early and we'll plan it right.

What if we're awkward in front of the camera?

Then you're my favorite kind of client. Most people who step in front of my camera feel a little nervous at first — my whole approach is built around gentle prompts and guidance, so you always know what to do. You'll leave saying it was actually fun. Promise.

Do you photograph weddings?

I photograph small, intimate elopements only — not full wedding days or events. If you're planning something small and meaningful, I'd love to hear about it.

What should we wear?

That's something we figure out together before your session. I'll help you choose outfits that photograph beautifully and that you can actually move, sit and play in comfortably.
