Kennewick, WA Photographer
Senior pictures, families, newborns and branding photography in Kennewick — photographed warm, golden and unhurried, the way this valley's evening light actually looks.
Ten Minutes From My Front Door
I'm based in Richland, just across the river — which means Kennewick clients get a local photographer, not a visitor with a GPS. I've been photographing families, seniors and business owners on this side of the water for two decades.
There's no travel fee anywhere in the Tri-Cities. Kennewick is home turf.
If Light and Airy Isn't What You Pictured
Here's something worth saying plainly, because it saves everybody time.
A lot of beautiful photography in this area is shot light and airy — pale, bright, soft. It's a lovely style and there are photographers here who do it very well. If that's the look you've been picturing for your family, you have wonderful options and I'd genuinely encourage you to book one of them.
My work is the other thing. Warm, rich, golden, a little moody. Deep shadows and honeyed light. There's a film quality to how I edit — vibrant but never harsh, and it doesn't chase whatever's trending this year. If you've scrolled through Kennewick photographers and kept thinking "this is pretty, but it's not quite me" — that's usually why, and that's usually the point at which people find me.
The right photographer isn't the best one. It's the one whose work already looks like what you're imagining on your wall.
What Works Well in Kennewick
Kennewick gives us long stretches of shoreline, wide-open lawns, big trees, dry hills at the edges that go gold in the evening, and enough brick and downtown texture for seniors and business owners who want something with an edge.
What I won't do is publish my exact locations — a photographer's spots are earned over years and I'd like to keep a few. But the honest truth is that the specific place matters less than the hour we shoot. What I bring is knowing which kind of location fits your family, and exactly when to be standing there.
For families, I lean toward open space over spectacular-but-cramped, every time. I'm going to give your kids things to do rather than ask them to stand still, and that needs room to move without the background falling apart.

Kennewick Questions
Do you charge a travel fee to Kennewick?
No. Richland, Kennewick and Pasco are all home coverage — no travel fee anywhere in the Tri-Cities.
What's your editing style?
Warm, vibrant, with a film feel. I adjust white balance and apply my signature edit to every image, and final retouching goes on the ones you choose. I'll take care of the temporary things — a blemish, a shirt bunching oddly — but I won't make you look like someone else.
What time of day do Kennewick sessions happen?
Golden hour — the last stretch of warm light before sunset. Exact timing shifts with the season, and I plan each session to the minute.
When should I book?
Four to six weeks ahead for most sessions. May through October is peak season here and fall dates go first.
Let's Plan Yours
