Open sky and long horizons give the evening light room to stretch across the frame. Around open land, fewer visual interruptions let the sun stay low and warm, creating a spacious look that feels different from a busier streetscape.

Farmland, Rows and Long Horizons
The agricultural landscape around Pasco changes through the year: blossoms in spring, deep green through summer and dusty gold as the season turns. Those shifts give the same wide horizon a different mood from one month to the next.
Rows do something specific in a photograph — they carry your eye straight through the frame and land it on the people. For senior pictures, open roads and long horizons create room to walk, turn and move without a crowded background.
For families, open space lets children move and interact instead of holding a pose. I choose the setting around the people first, then use the landscape to support the photograph rather than compete with it.

May—October
May through October is peak season across the Tri-Cities, and Pasco's open landscape is especially warm in late summer as fields turn gold. Fall dates fill first, so October sessions are best requested in late summer.
Spring
March and April bring blossoms, fresh green and milder evenings, with more room on the calendar. Spring can be a strong choice for families or seniors who want color without the pace of fall.
Winter
I also photograph year-round. A clear winter afternoon over open land can produce crisp, low light and a quieter palette. The season changes the look; it does not decide whether a meaningful session can happen.
